In this program, students take courses in calculus, algebra, statistics and discrete mathematics, as well as four programming classes. With the addition of instruction in chemistry and physics, students are well prepared for university studies in virtually any domain of engineering or the physical sciences. The program is particularly suited, however, to those wishing to pursue Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Game Development, or any other computer science-related field at the university level.
Vanier's Computer Science and Mathematics program is renowned for its academic excellence and distinguished faculty. Students are supported through a network of resource centers and tutoring services, and benefit from a range of enrichment opportunities. These include collaborating with faculty on research studies and participating in hackathons and and extracurricular activities like Vanier's Robotics Team.
