TASC promotes student success across all programs. We offer peer tutoring and mentoring, as well as help with writing, study skills and exam preparation.
Our services
Tutoring and help with coursework
We offer:
- Drop-in peer tutoring and assistance from teachers
- Paired private tutoring with peers
These services cover a range of subjects, including Math and Science, English and French.
The Writing Centre (E-320)
Our writing specialists are available on a drop-in basis to help you with written assignments in any discipline. Get help with everything from preparing an essay outline to polishing a final draft.
Centre d'aide en français
The Centre d'aide en français (CAF) offers support to students needing help with their French courses, as well as preparation for the Épreuve uniforme de français.
VConnect peer mentors
VConnect mentors provide first-year students with one-on-one support and guidance. The mentorship is college-wide and aims to help new students build connections with the Vanier community.

Our advisors are committed to helping you succeed from admission to graduation. Visit us for help with study skill-building, time management, work-life balance, communicating with teachers and more.
Skills workshops and information sessions
We offer regular workshops and information sessions on topics like exam preparation and university applications. Attendees must register in advance. Announcements of upcoming sessions are made on Omnivox.
