If you wish to drop a Continuing Education Evening and Credit Course, you must complete the online Course Drop form by the deadline.
The course drop deadline* is Wednesday, March 26, 2025 by 4:00 p.m. This deadline is the date by which students may drop a course without incurring academic consequences. Please review the Continuing Education important dates.
*The deadline for 109-103-MQ, section 02002 is different. Refer to your schedule for this date.
When dropping a course, keep in mind that:
- During the validation period, all courses must be marked as “ATTENDING” in order to drop a course.
- Once all courses have been validated as “ATTENDING,” you can still drop a course (regardless of whether you are passing or failing it)
- The course will be removed from your schedule, but will remain on your LEA.
- A remark will appear on your transcript as “AE” (Abandon étude).
- No grade, credits, or R-score will be assigned.
- Dropping a course will not change your full- or part-time status at Vanier College, however, your status may affect your eligibility for loans and bursaries. To maintain eligibility, you must pass a full-time course load consisting of 180 course hours or more.
