Vanier College is pleased to announce that cyclist Allyson Webb-Charland has won a Fondation Desjardins Sport études bursary of $500.
In 2021, Allyson Webb-Charland participated in 2 European races as part of the Canadian team, in addition to racing in several one-day French Division one heats. She lived in Europe for two years in order to race for the French Team while continuing her studies thorugh distance learning, which required quite a bit of adaptation on her part.
Once back in Quebec, she applied to Social Science at Vanier. Since then she has had an easier time of it in the two important areas of her life: her studies and her sport and above all she is more motivated.
This student athlete would like to be part of an America team in order to take part in the Criterium races on the America circuit. After completing her Cegep studies, Allyson would like attend university to study communications and marketing.
