Intramural sports are a fun and accessible way for full-time students and staff to stay active, meet people, and enjoy some friendly competition.
Unlike intercollegiate teams (the Cheetahs), which require tryouts and represent the college in official leagues, intramurals are open to everyone, regardless of experience level. You don’t need to be an elite athlete—just bring your enthusiasm and a valid Vanier I.D.!
Intramurals are co-ed, recreational sports leagues where you play against other Vanier students and staff. You can create your own team with friends or classmates, or join an existing one if there’s room. Leagues are formed based on student interest, so offerings may vary each semester.
Games take place on campus and usually require only a modest weekly commitment. Equipment is provided, and all the action happens in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Each semester, the intramural program offers a variety of sports depending on student demand. Options include:
