As stated in Section 2.4.2-i of the Safety Code for the Construction Industry, employers must ensure that management and control staff working "mainly and usually" on a construction site as well as construction workers have successfully completed this course. The objective of the course is to develop a general understanding of everything affecting health and safety on construction sites. Participants are required to attend all 30 hours of the course without exception and successfully complete a final evaluation in order to obtain the ASP certification card. Participants must be 16 years or older to register for this course.
